So last week students at my university (which ironically prides itself on being a premier university - and you'll see why it's ironic) embarked on a violent protest against management, asking for more financial aid from the university. While it's a reasonable request the means in which they carried out the protest was... in the least bit, ridiculous and dangerous. Sooo the campus closed from wednesday last week and re-opened today. As a result all my tests from last week have been rescheduled for this week (O_o) And if they were minor tests I would barely be stressed but they're major tests and the one test is the ONLY test we write for the module. So basically if I fail that I'm royally screwed.
Also...staff have decided to strike this week - for a 9% salary increase. The good news: It's not violent and students aren't being endangered. The bad news: The campus may close again if the unions don't accept the 8% increase and lectures end up being cancelled which may mean tests will be rescheduled - A-effing-GAIN!!
Sorry I'm just sooo pissed off about the impact this whole thing has on the entire university. Anywho we're getting to the point now...
What does this mean for Is That Blood? ?
It's highly probable (I learnt something in Statistics! ^_^) that there won't be an update until next week some time seeing as I'm also writing the following Monday. #howpeachy
So I hope everyone understands... If not I'm really sorry a thousand times over. And if it were possible I'd create several dopplegangers of myself.
Also... I'm reconsidering the status of this story/legacy/challenge. I've put up a poll at the bottom and everyone can vote. Just to explain the options.
- Continue with the legacy until the 10th generation. ie: Complete it
- Continue until the fifth generation (because I'm lazy and get bored easily <<--- this applies to all options I'm thinking)
- Continue until the end of Troye's story but this will still be a sort of legacy. Like 1 fifth of a legacy (O_o)
- Create a stand-alone story for Troye with new characters, etc
- Stop once current characters live happily ever after - ie: cancel the story and move on to a new idea.

ReplyDeleteAs for a legacy, that's the reason I never tried one myself! I love reading them, but I'd never have the patience or endurance to write one!
So I guess I vote for the last one! Hang in there, Acid. I'm stuck in RL & haven't been able to work on mine, either. :(
i think i just lack the committment and attention span to complete a legacy challenge. *blush*
